Introduction to Computer:-

 Computer is a fast growing network.Every person has a computer. Nowadays,Computer is used in all the fields whether it is in medical, military, in bank, in scientific research, in education, in media and communications or in animation, film industry, in criminal and law enforcement,in sports, mobile computing and publishing etc.

Computer stands for Common Operating Machines Particulatly Used In Trade Of Education And Research.The Computer word derived from the word 'compute' which means to calculate.It is an electronic machine which is used to perform arithmetic and logical operations. In other words, We can say computer is a group of devices.

History of Computer:-

Earlier, the Computers were used only in complex calculations. The father of Computer was Charles Babbage(developed analyacal engine in 1834). The concept of computer was given by John Van Numman.

Characteristics and Limitations :- 

Characteristics of Computer are very high processing speed, accuracy, more reliable,high storage capacity and versatility, reduction in manpower, reduction of paper.   There are two limitations of computer-dependancy on power and limited ability to think.
